New Delhi, July 8 (G’nY News Service): Residents of New Delhi woke up to a pleasant Wednesday morning. Last evening’s rainfall has caused a pleasant dip in the mercury and the minimum temperature in the city was recorded to be 3 points below the average minimum temperature of 28.4 degrees Celsius.
The MET department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by light rainfall throughout the day on June 8.
“The sky will be cloudy. Thunderstorm with light rain will occur in some areas”, an official of the Indian Meteorological Department had said.
The day’s maximum temperature will be close to 33 degrees Celsius.
The city has seen 26.5mm of rainfall since Tuesday morning.
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 86%.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature settled two points below the season’s average of 29.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum settled four points below the season’s average of 23.3 degrees Celsius.
