Coal in Energy Planning of India

Coal is likely to play a major role complementing renewable energy sources for years to come especially in  energy starved areas such as Champaran, Bihar.

Abstract: Energy is a critical input for economic development. Almost one third of India’s population do not have access to electricity and a majority of population is still dependent on biomass for their cooking needs.
