There is a general consensus on the warming of the lower atmosphere and the cooling of the upper atmosphere due to global warming.
Abstract: A possible impact of climate change in the upper atmosphere could be the excessive trapping of infrared radiation by the Earth’s lower atmosphere, which can leave much less reflected or emitted heat for the upper atmosphere, making these layers colder.
