The programme was inaugurated by Dr S N Barman, Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages while the eminent faculty for the training consisted of Dr Smita Sengupta, Senior Scientist, IIT Bombay, Dr Ganesh Prasad, Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Engineering and Sulagna Chattopadhyay, Editor G'nY. The training was a grand success.
Abstract: LIGHTS opened its doors to the most interested and vibrant school teachers of Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, to train them and through them the GenX, about the dynamical GIS, GPS and remote sensing techniques.
