Abstract: The fire in the Seshachalam forest in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh destroyed 1300-1400 hectares of forest land belonging to Andhra Pradesh, and about 100 hectares of forest land belonging to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
